Biography

William was born in 1864. He was the son of John Mackay and Mary McIntosh.

According to his death record, he was a barrister and solicitor^[1]. His older brother Charles was the informant for this record.

William married late in life. His marriage to Edith Mary Macoun Niven took place April 7, 1923^[2].

He passed away in 1929^[1].

William's Find a Grave profile includes his obituary which was published on 11 Jan 1929 in The Huron Expositor. His obituary describes his athleticism and notes that he was a "most enthusiastic high bicycle racer"^[3].
