Biography

Minnie Elizabeth Madison was born in Saginaw, Michigan on 5 June 1884 to Jacob Madison and Annie Nelson.[1] She married Albert Victor Schrink in 1902.[2] They had 2 children. She died in 1956.

Mrs. Minnie Shrink Dies

Mrs. Minnie Schrink, of 1154 Prospect SE, died Sunday afternoon.

She was 72. Mrs. Schrink is survives by a daughter, Mrs. Robert Yakes, and a grandson, Donald Yakes, both of Grand Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bucuss of Muskegon, Mrs. Irene Vredeveld of Canton, Ohio; three brothers, George Madison of Detroit, Charles Madison of Seattle, and H. F. Jenson of Milwaukee, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.[3]

Mrs. A. V. Shrink, 72, Dies at Home

Mrs. Albert V. (Minnie) Schrink, 72, of 1154 Prospect av., SE, member of South Congregational church and Grand Rapids resident 54 years, died Sunday at her home after a short illness.

Mrs. Schrink was president of the Cornell guild of the church and was a member of the Ladies auxiliary of the Order of Railroad Conductors. Her husband, a conductor on the Chesapeake & Ohio railway, died 10 years ago.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert Yakes of Grand Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bucuss of Muskegon and Mrs. Irene Vredeveld of Canton, Ohio; two brothers, George Madison of Detroit and Charles Madison of Seattle, Wash.; a half-brother, H. F. Jenson of Milwaukee, and a grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Greenhoe-VanZee chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.[3]
