  2. On Civil War Research it shows date and method of discharge not given and on Andersonville Records of POW's it shows Private Maguire was sent to Millen on 11 Nov 1864. There is also a note to check PA 1st Prov Cavalry and there is a John Maguire but it shows he was mustered out 17 Jun 1865 and John Maguire in Plot 12625 died 9 Feb 1865 - https://civilwardata.com/active/hdsquery.dll?SoldierHistory?U&808964. There is also a remark that there is a possible same person found in cahaba but I cannot find a link to John Maguire - https://civilwardata.com/active/hdsquery.dll?SoldierHistory?U&801096 Diss-96 02:20, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
