Frederick, child of Gordon Mainwaring & Mary Hickey, was born on 11 November 1859 in Peachy Belt.^[1]

In the 1871 census Frederick (age 11) was the son of Gordon Mainwaring in Gloucester Place, Marylebone, London & Middlesex, England.^[2]

Frederick (full age) married Barbara Maitland Rae (full age1) on 26 April 1888 in St Marylebone, Middlesex.^[3] Frederick's marriage to Barbara Maitland Rae was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1888 in the Marylebone district.^[4]

In the 1891 census F (age 30) was the married head of household at 45, Bryanston Street, St Marylebone, Marylebone, London & Middlesex, England.^[5]

Frederick died on 2 May 1891 and his estate passed probate on 23 June 1891 in London.^[6] Frederick's death (age 31) was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1891 in the Marylebone district.^[7]

Frederick died of acute pneumonia after an illness of three days.^[8]

DEATH.

MAINWARING.— On the 3rd May, Frederick Roland, of Whitmore Hall, Staffordshire, and Biddulph, Cheshire, youngest and only surviving son of the late Gordon Mainwaring, and brother of Mrs. Wentworth Cavenagh, Eden Park, Marryatville. (By telegraph.)^[9]
