David (Makgill) Makgill of Nesbit and Cranston Riddell Jr. is a member of Clan Makgill.

David Makgill was a member of the aristocracy in Scotland.

David Makgill was the son of David Makgill and Elizabeth Forester. [1]

In 1585 he had charter of his lands. He held the office of a Lord of Session on 25 May 1597.

He lived at Cranston Riddell, Midlothian, Scotland.

He married Mary Sinclair, daughter of Sir William Sinclair of Herdmanstoun, on 10 September 1583.[2][3][4] They had issue:

  4. Thomas[2]
  5. John[2]
  6. Alexander, baptized 20 Ju 1600[2]

He died on 10 May 1607.[4]
