Sarah Mallison was born on November 16, 1810.

She was baptized on December 30, 1810 at Cathedral Saint Peter, Sheffield, York, England.

She married Hezekiah Mitchell on October 7, 1832 at the Cathedral in Manchester, England.

She appeared in the 1850 US census in St. Louis, Missouri.

In 1854 she traveled to Utah with the James Brown Company.

She appeared in the 1880 US census in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She died on April 10, 1883 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Her grave marker is located at Salt Lake City Cemetery in Salt Lake City.
