Mrs. Elizabeth Key
Leonard (Special) - Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Blanton Chapel Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday for Mrs. Sara Elizabeth Key 92, with Rev. E.B. Jackson and Rev. Thomas Reece officiating. Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery, Wilson Directing. Grandsons were pallbearers.
Mrs. Key was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mangrum and was married to Andrew Key April 10, 1874. She had resided here for 67 years.
Survivors include six sons, W.J. Key, Leonard; John Key, Leonard; Pleas Key, Leonard; Jim Key, Mineral Wells; three daughters, Mrs. Archie Evans, Leonard; Mrs. Betty Kelly, Van Alstyne; and Mrs. Johnny Gouge, McKinney; 86 grand children, 123 great grand children and 16 great-great grand children.
