Biography

Elizabeth Man was baptised on 2nd November 1730 at St Clement's Church, Hastings, Sussex, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Man.

In 1757 (exact date not yet known) John Sargent and Elizabeth Mann (sic) married at St Clement's Church, Hastings, Sussex.

We have yet to find any children of the marriage.

There are two possible burial dates for Elizabeth's husband John Sargent: 9th August 1768 at All Saints Church, Hastings, Sussex, or 9th November 1769 at All Saints Church, Hastings, Sussex.

Elizabeth Sargent (age just 46), 'the widow of John Sargent', was buried on 19th January 1776 at All Saints Church, Hastings, Sussex.
