On the 1871 census, Catherine, aged 11 years, is living at 17 Tottenham Square, Coundon, with her parents and siblings: Sarah (19 years) and Richard (5 years).[3]
On the 1881 census, Catherine, aged 21 years, is living at Howlish Terrace, Coundon, with her parents and her brother, Richard, aged 15 years.[4]
Catherine married Alfred Bond in Auckland St Andrews, Durham, in 1883 but they had no children.[5]
On the 1891 census, Alfred, a butcher, and Catherine are living on Wharton St.[6]
On the 1901 census, Alfred, a butcher, and Catherine are living on Wharton St, Coundon. Alfred's widowed mother, Isabella, is also living with them.[7]
On the 1911 census, Alfred, a butcher, and Catherine are living at 11 Howlish Terrace, Coundon. The record states they have been married for twenty-eight years and have had no children.[8]
On the 1921 census, Catherine, a widow, is living at 11 Howlish Terrace, Coundon. She is working as a confectioner.[9]
Catherine Manners died, aged 75 years, on 20 May 1935. Probate valued her estate at £358 (approx £27,128 in 2022).[10][11]
