Biography
Herbert Allan Manzer was born on December 21, 1911, in York, New Brunswick, Canada, his father, James, was 31 and his mother, Dora, was 31. He married Mary Cheny Allen on February 23, 1932, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. They had three children in 10 years. He died on February 15, 2005, in Nauwigewauk, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 93.[1][2]

MANZER, HERBERT ALLAN - Peacefully in his sleep at the age of 93 years, Herbert Allan Manzer, of Nauwigewauk, loving husband of 74 years to Mary C. Manzer. Allan was the son of Bertram and Dora (Pond) Manzer of Durham. He is survived by his son Frederic (Rene Smythe) of Rothesay and two sisters Nan Watt and Elva MacCausland of Marysville. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Dana, Tom and Heidi Manzer, Cindy Morris, Christa Illman (Norman) and Clare McLean (Craig), and 12 great grandchildren Sean, Allan, Geoff, Jordan, Josh, Craig, Meghan, Brittany, Lindsay, Morgan, Bruce and Andrew. He was predeceased by two sons, Colin and Ronald, brother Fred and sisters Helen, Ethel, Mae and Birdie. Allan was an avid golfer, curler, hunter and fisherman.
