1+ acres on the Mongahela River, plus the rights to mine coal underground 900 feet beyond. This land was patented by James Chambers on 12 November 1787 (Patent Book 12, page 42) and sold by James Kerr to Catherine Brown on 9 June 1825.

25 January 1888 - Jacob Maple of Alleheny County, Pennsylvania sold the west half of the northeast quarter of Section 6, Township 11, Range 3 in Brush Creek Township, Jefferson County, Ohio to Millard F. Call for one dollar and other considerations.[3] This was land Jacob had purchased from his brother John.
Jacob was buried in Lobb's Cemetery, near Floreffe, Pennsylvania.[4]
His gravestone reads:

DIED
JAN 9, 1897
AGED 77 YRS.
