Biography

Hugh was born about 1673. He died in Pemaquid, Maine, about September 9, 1695.

Note: Maine was part of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts until 1820, when it voted to secede from Massachusetts to become a separate state. Therefore, location references to 'Maine' prior to 1820 in the biography below were then in 'Massachusetts'.
