Biography
William Mark was born in Cornwall, England.
William was born in 1804 in Luxulyan, Cornwall, the sixth child of nine born to Philip Mark and Honour Merrifield. He was baptized 6 January, 1805, in Luxulyan.
He married widow Maria Cock in May, 1827, in Roche. Maria brought 3-year old daughter Betsey to the marriage. William and Maria had another daughter, Mary Ann, born July, 1827.
William died in July 1828 in Lockengate, age 24. His step-daughter Betsey Common died in September 1828. William was buried in Luxulyan.
