Biography

When Sidney Fred Markley was born in 1846 in Ohio, his father, Moses, was 51 and his mother, Malinda, was 24. He married Laura Reed on January 26, 1873. They had four children in 17 years. He died in 1918 in Jasper, Texas, at the age of 72, and was buried there.
