Retired Major U.S. Army.
The 1918 birthdate is an error. His brother William was born in March 1918. The 1930 census shows him as being 9 years old, and William was 12 years old. The 1940 census show his as a 19 year old.
He was married to Fannie Cook Marland
He died in 1968
