Biography

Thomas Marnin's grandparents immigrated from Ireland. His paternal grandparents were James Marnin, blacksmith, born about 1827, and Bridget, born 1839. His father, Michael, was born in Iowa. Michael is shown working as a railroad section fireman in the 1900 census, and as a railroad foreman in the 1910 census.
