Biography

Grace Marsden was born in about 1752 in Mirfield, in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England, and she was christened there on the 26th of December 1752. Grace's father was John Marsden.^[1]

Grace had at least one older sister, Betty, who born in about 1750.^[2]

When Grace was about 31 years old she married John Brook in Mirfield on the 9th of June 1783.^[3] John and Grace had at least seven children together who were, Betty (1784), Mary (1787), Sarah (1789), John (1793), Joseph (1795), Charles (1797), and Mary (1799).
