On Sunday morning, November 28th, the Death Angel made its visit here on earth. It hovered for some time over the bedside of little Winnie Martin, before claiming her a victim. About 4 o'clock her soul winged its way upward.

She leaves to mourn her going, her mother, Mrs. J. N. Martin, five brothers and four sisters, besides a host of relatives and friends. Her father, Mr. John Martin, passed on a few years ago.

Her body was laid to rest in the Butler cemetery. We admonish the bereaved ones to weep not, for your loss is her gain. We know that the Heavenly Father doeth all things for the best.

We pray that we may meet her again in that City of Bliss, where only the pure in heart may dwell, and where sorrow is unknown.
