Lynn Martin was born in Appalachia, in West Virginia.

Lynn was born in 1934. He was the son of Walter Martin and Ella Cutright.

In the 1940 census Walter (age 5) was the son of Walter D. Martin in Banks Magisterial District, Upshur, West Virginia, United States.^[1]

In the 1950 census Walter (age 15) was the son of Walter Dallas Martin in Clay District, Ritchie, West Virginia, United States.^[2]

He passed away in 2020 and is buried in Lamberton Cemetery, Ellenboro, Ritchie County, West Virginia. ^[3]
