He married Lillaway Willoughby in approximately 1913.

In the 1920 census Bert (age 29) was the married head of household in Montgomery County, Kentucky, United States.[3]

In the 1930 census Bert (age 37) was the married head of household in Jeffersonville, Montgomery, Kentucky, United States.[4]

In the 1940 census Ruford (age 50) was the married head of household in Magisterial District 1, Campbell, Kentucky, United States.[5]

He died on January 03, 1963 in Dayton, Montgomery, Ohio, United States. [6]

Albert was laid to rest in the Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, Preble County, Ohio, United States with a death date of 3 January 1963.[7]
