Morgan Martin, son of Thomas Alexander Martin and Permeliar (Ramsey) Martin, was born on 8 September 1875 in Cherokee County, South Carolina.[1]
He married Maggie Jane Hardin, daughter of John R. Hardin and Cynthia Catherine "Ebbie" (Bolin) Hardin[1]
He was a farm laborer when he appeared on the census of 22 June 1900 at Kings Mountain, York County, South Carolina.[2] He was a farmer when he and Maggie appeared on the census of 1930 at Limestone, Cherokee County, South Carolina.[3]
Morgan died on 25 August 1934 at Cherokee County, South Carolina and was buried at Oakland Cemetery, Gaffney, Cherokee County, South Carolina. His memorial has photos, a copy of his obituary and links to those of family members.[1]
