Biography

Pratt was born on 11 Dec 1887 in Pratt, Kansas to Pleasant Massey and Lydia Maria Lytle. He passed away on 10 Jul 1970 in Janesville, Wisconsin and is buried in the Eastlawn Cemetery, Beloit, Wisconsin.^[1][2][3]

1900 Census: Pratt (14) is living with his parents, P. H. (77) and Lydia M. (40) Massey, in the Bruno Township of Butler County, Kansas. The record reflects that Pratt was born in Kansas.^[4]

1930 Census: Pratt and his wife Beulah are living in Enid, Oklahoma with their son James (8) and daughters Emmalea (5), and Patsy Marie (4 months). Pratt is a Fireman for the Railroad. Ther record reflects that Beulah and the children were all born in Oklahoma.^[5]
