Biography
Son of the vicar in Brunnby parish, Mats Mogensen. Petrus was also a minister, and vicar of Elveröd parish from 1699. He was a field minister in the war under king Carl XII of Sweden (Regiment: S. Sk. Kavalleriregementet) and was held prisoner in Tobolski. He returned home in 1722. In 1730, Petrus turned his position over to his son-in-law Christopher Blanxius and after Christopheräs death the same year to David Evensson, who was the son of Petrus's wife's sister.
According to Sjöström, the name Collin was based on Kullen, the area Petrus lived in.
