MR. D. M. MAYBERRY.
The death occurred recently of Mr. Duckett Mahony Mayberry, 78, of Mundy Street, Goulburn. He was the father ot Mr. Gus Mayberry, of Liverpool (now in Malaya).
Born at Kenmore, County of Kerry. Ireland, Mr. Mayberry came to Australia when 19 years of age, and two years later commenced work with the Railway Department at Goulburn. He had remained stationed in the Goulburn district up till the time of his retirement eleven years ago. He was a popular figure among raliway men, and had the distinction of being one of the four life members of the Railway and Tramways Institute.
He is survived by his wife and family of three sons and three daughters - Gus (A.I.F., abroad), Hyl (Hurstville), Gerald (Frampton), Doreen (Mrs. Coggan, Canberra), Mollie (Goulburn), and Katherine (Mrs. Osmond, Goulburn).
