Biography

John was born about 1750.

John married Mary Sims, 23 Feb 1773, in Bute (later Warren), North Carolina, with the permission of her father, Edward Sims.[1][2][3]

A Quit Claim dated, 15 Nov 1794, shows that John Mayfield purchased land from the legatees of Edward Sims' estate.
