Hello, I look forward to finding links between the branches of my family Maynard or Mainard. They originally came over to England with William the Conquerer from Normandy. The rest came to England in the 1500's & 1600's, escaping from the Huguenot persecutions. My deirect ancestors are believed to have travelled to England from Flanders with Anne of Cleeves as part of her retinue. kind regards Helen Swabey nee Maynard
