Klara was born on February 2nd, 1892 in Hütting, Landkreis Neuburg-Schrobenhausen, Bayern in a farming family. She was the youngest of six siblings. Her mother died when in childbirth! After her father died a couple months later from depression, Klara and her siblings were raised by members of the Löffler family, on her mother's side.

Klara married Jakob Bauer in 1921. They may have met when Jakob's parents ran a restaurant near Hütting.
What I have been told, Klara wanted to marry somebody else, but he was killed during the First World War.
Nevertheless, Klara and Jakob moved to Viehbach in Landkreis Freising/Dachau where they had a small farm and a lemonade business. They had 8 children, (Martha, Maria, Jakob, Klara, Annie, Walburga, Franz and Joseph).

She wasn't always happy living with Jakob and at one time she moved away, but when she was unable to support herself she returned to him.
Klara passed away on November 19, 1965 and is buried at the village cemetery in Viehbach.
