Biography

Mary (McCallum) Morrison migrated from Scotland to the United States.

Mary was born in 1864. She was the daughter of Donald McCallum Ann McAlpine ^[1]

She came to the United States about 1903.

In 1909 she married James Morrison. ^[2]

They had no children.

Mary’s sister Catherine married James’ brother Nathaniel in 1907.

They lived in Rockford. ^[3][4]

Mary passed away in 1950.^[5]

Obituary

MRS. MARY MORRISON

Mrs. Mary Morrison, 84, Baker Place, died at 5 p.m. Thursday in St. Anthony Hospital. She had been a patient since Monday.

Mrs. Morrison was born in Scotland. She came to Rockford from Scotland in 1909. Her husband, James Morrison died in 1947.

Services will be held in the Long-Klonz Funeral home. The Rev. Harold G. Whitfield of First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be held at Willwood Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home between 7 and 8:30 tonight. ^[6]
