Biography

Augustine McCarty, son of Nathaniel McCarty and Rachael (McDonald) McCarty, was born about 1805 probably in Kentucky.[1]

He married Margaret Kinnett on 8 March 1828 in Brown County, Ohio.[2]

He was a blacksmith when he and Margaret appeared on the census of 20 August 1850 at Byrd, Brown County, Ohio.[3] He was a day laborer when he and Margaret appeared on the census of 5 June 1880 at Jefferson, Brown County, Ohio.[4]

Augustine died on 23 February 1881 at Jefferson Township, Brown, Ohio.[5]
