Biography
Charles was born in 1865. The 1870 census shows Charles and his parents, living in his grandfather's household in Augusta County, Virginia.

[2] In 1897 he married Edna Baker Kaylor. [3] The 1900 and 1910 census shows Charles and his wife Edna living in his parents household. Charles occupation at this time is shown as working on the family farm. [4][5] The 1920, 1930, and 1940 census information shows him living with his wife and children in Augusta County, Virginia. His occupations at this time are shown as a grocery store salesman and a farmer. [6][7][8]
