Biography

Charles was born in 1865. The 1870 census shows Charles and his parents, living in his grandfather's household in Augusta County, Virginia. ^[1] The 1880 census shows him living in his parents household in Augusta County, Virginia. ^[2] In 1897 he married Edna Baker Kaylor. ^[3] The 1900 and 1910 census shows Charles and his wife Edna living in his parents household. Charles occupation at this time is shown as working on the family farm. ^{[4] [5]} The 1920, 1930, and 1940 census information shows him living with his wife and children in Augusta County, Virginia. His occupations at this time are shown as a grocery store salesman and a farmer. ^[6][7][8] Charles passed away in 1959. ^{[9] [10]}
