William M'Clara Services For Retired Railroad Man Will Be Held Today
Services for William Albert McClara of 1517 Court, retired railroad man, who died at 5 yesterday morning, will be held at National Funeral Home at 4 this afternoon. Dr. paul Caudill will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Mr. McClara who was in charge of the railroad yards at Clarksdale, Miss., at the time of his retirement, had been employed by the Illinois Central System for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Maintenance, the Knights of Pythias. and of the First Baptist Church of Clarksdale, Miss.
He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Harry Claxton, Mrs. Ruth G Dunn, and Miss Jane McClara all of Memphis.
