Ella McCleary was born on 29 January 1897 in Wellington New Zealand, her father, Richard, was 36, and her mother, Henrietta Whiting, was 29.
She married Thomas James (Tom) Farrell in 1926 in New Zealand.
They had three children during their marriage. She died on 25 March 1977 in Auckland at the age of 80, and was West Auckland New Zealand
