Biography

Alexander McClurg was born on January 15, 1845. He was the son of William McClurg and Elizabeth Henderson, his father, William, was 37 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 35.

He married Margaret Rebecca Ann Lemons on May 9, 1868, in Dallas, Missouri. They had eight children in 16 years. He passed away on January 20, 1918, in Long Lane, Missouri, at the age of 73, and was buried there.
