Biography

Susan "Paulina" McConnell was born on 13 December 1863 in Abingdon, Washington County, Virginia, Confederate States of America, perhaps the sixth of eleven known children and the third of five known daughters[1] of Thomas McConnell and Rachel Beatie.
On 11 May 1891, when she twenty-seven, she married Walter Bridgforth. She bore him four known children, two sons and two daughters, including:
  1. Allen Bridgforth, 1892-1969
  2. Mariah Bridgforth, 1894-
  3. Robert Moore Bridgforth, 1895-1979
  4. Virginia Bridgforth, c1892-1923
On 3 September 1933, when she was sixty-nine, Paulina died of unknown causes in Pickens, Holmes County, Mississippi.
