Clorinda was born in 1843 in Cumberland County, Kentucky to Jeremiah McCoy and Lucia "Lucy" Talbot.[1][2] She passed away in 1919.[3]
She married Hiram T. Bell around 1860, and they had a daughter Martha Carrie Dickson. Hiram Bell died in 1863 serving with the Union Army in the Civil War, and Clorinda married John T. Vigles around 1865.[4]
In documents I have come across, her name has been spelled several different ways.. usually "Clorinda", "Clarinda" or "Cleranda". I am not yet sure which one is correct.
