He was the son of Thomas McDonald and Susannah W Corder.

Thomas married Anna M Dunkel on September 2, 1847 while living in Ohio. They had at least the following children:

  7. William Eugene McDonald

Thomas and Anna moved to Illinois in 1851.

He married Caroline Hubbard on 7 Nov 1899 in , Christian, Illinois, USA[8]

Thomas died on August 5, 1908 in Shelbyville, Shelby, Illinois, USA.[9]

How on earth did you get his DNA? I've been trying to find a way to get my grandfathers. Can you get it off of something he owned or what?? (My grandfather lied about his name, age and place of birth and I really, really, want to find out who our family is!!)
