Biography

Michael was born on 28 May 1860 at Glengarry, Western Australia.^[1]

He married Mary Ann Hackett on 24 May 1892.^[2]

Michael was a farmer at Walkaway and Chapman Valley. He had been a shearer in the Murchison district and was engaged in horse transport to the Murchison goldfields. He rented farms at Walkaway for eleven years and at Chapman for two years, before buying virgin land at Nanson from Mt. Erin station. He was a member of the Nanson Hall Committee.^[2]

Michael died on 24 January 1938 in Geraldton.^[3][2]
