Biography
- Rhoda Ann McElyea was born in 1855 in Illinois to William and Milley (Hatchet) McElyea. She married Andrew Haslip in Franklin County, Illinois on July 21, 1874. They were the parents of John W. (1874-1954), Mary Louise (born 1877), Millie Elizabeth "Lizzie" (1878–1950), Susan C. (born 1883), George Franklin (born 1885), and Sarah (born 1886). She died in 1888, in Missouri at the age of 33.
