Agnes was born in 1892. She is the daughter of Thomas McFall and his wife Elizabeth.[1]
In 1915 she married Arthur James MacPherson.[2]
In 1926 they adopted a child, Maisie, who had been found abandoned in the outside washouse of an empty house on Waltham Road in Christchurch. [3] The MacPhersons had no other children besides Ian who died young. [4]
She passed away 25 Oct 1950 age 58.[5] She is buried at Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Palmerston North.[6]
Her husband was born McPherson, but used the MacPherson spelling later in life, and Agnes seems to have taken the latter spelling exclusively.
