Martha (McFarland) Crooker was born in Somerset, England.

Martha, the daughter of Robert McFarland (1735-1815) and Elizabeth Thomas (1734-1819) was born on 2 February 1774 at Wayford, Somerset, England.

Marriage and Family

Martha married Gamaliel Crooker, the son of Isaiah and Hannah (Harding) Crooker on 19 November 1795 at Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine.^[1]Her husband's occupation was Blacksmith. Martha and Gamaliel had eight children born at Bath, Maine:
