Biography
All of Nancy MeGehee and Nelson Mordecai Cooke's children were adopted by Nancy's brother Dabney MeGehee and his wife Esther, after they were made guardians of these children. Records show that Ralph Tandy was first made guardian, but this was changed so that Dabney and his wife were made legal guardians.
