Marian Wallis McGregor, daughter of William McGregor and Isabelle (Bishop) McGregor, was born 15 April 1859 in Hopkins County, Kentucky, United States.^{[1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]}

She married Commodore Perry "C P " Wilkey on 11 October 1877 in Hopkins County. ^{[7] [8] [9]}

They were the parents of five known children:

3. Claude Oscar Wilkey
4. Mattie Mae Wilkey
5. Dora Belle Wilkey
