Biography

George was born in 1856. He was the son of Newell McHone and Mary Ann DeHaven.[1]

1860 Census, Wythe, Virginia, age 3.[2]

1870 Census, Laurel Fork, Carroll, Virginia[3]

He married Virginia Elizabeth Edwards, the daughter of Aaron C and Rebecca Utt Edwards on 8 Feb 1877 in Carroll, Virginia[4]

They had the following children:

Abe died 23 May 1901. His wife passed away in 1953.[13]
