Biography

Lincoln L. McIntire was born on August 9, 1867,^[1] in Milan, New Hampshire. He was the son of George W. McIntire and Lucy Adelia Twitchell.^[2][3]

On August 22, 1893, in Laconia, New Hampshire, he was united in marriage with Mary E. York.^[3] They had several children. In 1910, they were living in Westborough, Massachusetts.^[4] In 1920, they were living in Brea, Orange County, California.^[5] Several of his children, in their adult life, took the name of McIntyre.

Lincoln died on January 5, 1951, in Orange County, California.^[1] A grave marker exists for him in Hillcrest Cemetery, in Milan, New Hampshire, which has inscribed a death date of January 5, 1950 — this may be a cenotaph.^[6]
