Leroy McJimpson was born on 25 January 1925 in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. He is the son of Luke McJimpson and Cora Lee (Daniels) McJimpson.^[1][2]

He married Bernice Davis on 21 May 1945 in Saline County, Arkansas.^[3] They had a daughter.

He died in 1977.^[4] He is buried in Haven of Rest Cemetery in Little Rock.^[5]

Obituary

LeRoy McJimpson, aged 49, of 1212 West Eleventh Street, died Sunday. Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Stewart of Las Vegas; a foster daughter, Mrs. Shirley Smith of Las Vegas; three brothers, Arthur Curry of Little Rock, Luke McJimpson and Bill McJimpson of Los Angeles; four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Whitmore, Miss Sarah McJimpson, and Maurice Duhart of Little Rock and Mrs. Lenora Hopkins of Bloomington, Ind.; and two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Dubisson Undertaking Co.^[6]
