Biography
Sarah Jean was the first child of Nathaniel McKean and his wife, Mary Ann McGlothlin. She was born on October 18, 1830 in Crawford County, Missouri. On February 26, 1846, Sarah Jane McKean married George Washington Holt, b. March 12, 1828, in Cocke County, Tennessee. They married in Cole Co., Missouri. They had a daughter: Eliza Jane Holt, b: Dec. 5, 1846 in Morgan, Laclede Co., Missouri.
George Washington Holt died on Jan 16, 1905 in Louisburg, Dallas Co., Missouri. His wife, Mary Jane (McKean) Holt survived him. She died July 20, 1916, in Wheatland, Hickory Co., Missouri.
