Martha Wiles, youngest daughter of John and Eleanor McKinley Wiles, m. Robert John and their only surviving son is Rev. J. P. D. John, D.D., L.L.D., President DePauw University, Greencastle, Ind.
John Wiles died in 1809 and his will mentions father-in-law Rodger McKinley.
After the first generation this family were Presbyterians and Methodists.
