Biography
From Judith A. Bennett: Daughter of James and Susan McKinsey from Enola, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Emma was born in East Pennsboro, Cumberland County, Pa. Emma is my great grandmother's sister.
In 1880 James and Susan Fry McKinsey lived near Stephen Keys age 38 and Family. Stephen is a brother to Mary E. Keys that married Edward Sawyer. In 1880 Edward Sawyer and his wife Mary lived next door to George W. Geesey and his parents Peter and Mary Geesey. Edward and Mary Sawyer were grandparents to Emma, George Geesey's wife. Mary and Edward's daughter, Mary Etta or Maryetta Sawyer, was the wife of Lewis Luther Stewart, Jr. James and Susan's other daughter, Matilda, married Jacob Franklin Stewart, brother to Lewis Luther Stewart, Jr. Jacob Franklin and Matilda Stewart are my line. Matilda A. KcKinsey and Emma L. McKinsey are sisters.
