Biography of Nancy McLeod
Nancy McLeod born April 27, 1816 in Jackson County, Georgia was the fourth child born to Malcom McLeod and Rebecca Rooks. She married Mr. Albert Miles Hairston about 1840 in Georgia. She is buried at the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Snapfinger, DeKalb County, Georgia.
She had children 4 children all born in Georgia:
1. Rebecca Anna Lavinia Hairston, born about 1842.
2. Caroline Hairston, born about 1844, died 1928.
3. William Malcom Hairston, born about 1846. Twin Hairston, born about 1846.
4. Alice Priscilla Hairston, born about 1848.
Nancy passed away in 1891.
