Biography
When Jane G McMurtrie was born on 1 May 1809, in New Jersey, United States, her father, James McMurtrie, was 35 and her mother, Elizabeth Smith, was 42. She married William White in 1826, in Columbia, Pennsylvania, United States. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 6 daughters. She lived in Scott Township, Columbia, Pennsylvania in 1860. She died on 10 June 1869, at age of 60, and was buried in Lightstreet, Scott Township, Columbia, Pennsylvania, .
